26 Feb 2009There always comes a day when you start to wonder if you lovely Apple product is still within warranty. In most cases people start looking for their receipt/invoice to find on what exact date they bought their product to verify if the 1 year limited warranty period has expired or not. But why going through all that trouble?
Apple has a very useful support site but sometimes it’s hard to find those simple things you are looking for. Some of you might already be aware of this but some might not, but Apple actually has a “Check Warranty Status” page. It’s hidden in the lower right corner of the support site, but we won’t make you look for the link on their site. We will make it easier for you and include a nice looking button with a direct link to their “Check Warranty Status” page.
But even their system can have the wrong purchase dates sometimes, it happens in most cases when the user didn’t register the computer during the first setup guide. If this is the case you will have to find your receipt/invoice on the purchase of the unit. But as long the system shows that the product is within warranty there really is no point in looking for the proof of purchase.
